9mobile’s “Browse With Airtime” feature
On 9mobile, it’s known as PAYG. Using 9mobile’s Pay As You Go (PAYG) service, customers can surf the web with the money in their account.
If you want to use the “browse with airtime” feature, you don’t need to have a 9mobile data plan. PAYG activation is all that is required.
With 9mobile PAYG, you can surf for N15/5 minutes. In other words, if you recharge your line with N100 and activate PAYG, you would be charged N15 for every five minutes you use the internet.

Recharge your line at least 100 Naira before you can begin.
Immediately after dialing the activation code, a message will appear on your screen informing you that you are now browsing using the airtime on your account balance.
How To Deactivate Pay As You Go On 9mobile
It’s easy to stop using 9mobile’s airtime for browsing. It’s as simple as dialing the brief USSD code:
In order to discontinue 9mobile’s pay as you go service, simply dial *2290#.
Unless you purchase a data package, you will no longer be able to use your airtime to browse the web.
How Do I Prevent 9mobile from Deducting My Credit?
