Dial *601*default PIN*New PIN*New PIN# on your phone them send, For example dial *601*0000*1010*1010# and send.
Now if you dialed the code correctly MTN will sent you a confirmation message: “Your MTN transfer code have been changed successfully”, To show you that your pin have been changed to the new one.
Transfer Credit from MTN To MTN
There are two proven method in which you can transfer airtime from MTN to MTN, the first one is by using an USSD while the second one is by sending a text message from your phone.
For the first method Simply open your SMS and send “Transfer, Recipient’s Number, Amount and PIN” to 777.
Example, SMS: Transfer 08031234567 1500 1234 to 777.
Immediately, MTN will sent you a message asking you to authorize the transaction. Now reply “YES” to 777, to Authorize your transaction.
Note the least amount you can transfer is N50.
After your transfer is complete MTN will send you a confirmation message.
For the second Method I will say this is the easiest and stress free way to share airtime on MTN very fast and better, I personally use and recommend this method to transfer credit to another MTN users.
To transfer the credits just dial *600*Phone Number*Amount*PIN# on your phone and Send.
Example: Simply dial *600*08031234567*1500*1234# and then send.
